If I pay $10 for a kitchen pack, I'd like to see unbreakable items with high food quality (especially since there are some already included in the base game. There are better fridges and ovens in the BASE GAME. They are only about a 5 in food quality and 4 on reliability. If that's not disappointing enough, the stats on these newly added items are horrendous. Honestly, when I think about kitchen, I don't know about you, but I think of fridges, ovens, and countertops. They only added ONE new fridge and ONE new oven and ONE new countertop. For something to be considered "Cool KITCHEN Stuff," there isn't much kitchen stuff. When making ice cream, you can only keep it on the counter after taking it out of your sims inventory, and it's basically a countdown until the ice cream spoils. The lack of content is also very disappointing. Doesn't everyone keep ice cream in their freezer? This honestly needs to be fixed in an update or something. First off, you cannot keep your ice cream in the freezer or fridge, which is not realistic at all. Everything else is more or less a disappointment. But honestly that is the only good thing I can say about this pack. Some of the ice creams (usually higher level ice creams) have some pretty neat temporary effects and it's fun to experiment with them at parties. The ice cream maker is pretty neat and if you have a sim at level 10 cooking, he or she can make a plethora of ice cream/gelato flavors.

I'll start off by talking about the good stuff: the ice cream maker. There aren't many new hairstyles or clothes (at least for men haven't checked the women's yet, but I don't really go into extreme detail when making my sims). There are only a handful of new items added to this pack, and the majority added are some random posters for the kitchen (although some are cute). There are only a handful of new items added to this pack, and the majority added are some random 2/10 because 2 expensive for what you get. 2/10 because 2 expensive for what you get.
